It happened on 19 of April. They came to our country again! Brian, Roger and Jim settled down in “Vnukovo” airport late in the evening and went to the “Balchug Kempinski hotel”. They came to “exam” the actors, who passed the final casting on “WWRY” musicale, that’s why they spent most of their time in the office of “Centum” company, where they listened to Russian musicians and singers. Paul (Mr. ProDJ) and I first saw them on 21 of April, while they were visiting GUM (some kind of big boutique/supermarket with big restaurants and cafes). After they had a dinner, I came to May and Taylor to say hello. Brian smiled and said that he remembered me since February. “You will see the musicale soon”, he answered to me when I asked him when will they release some new stuff.
There was one funny little moment. When Roger was going to sit back in a car, I shouted to him “Roger, how are you? ”. Security saw me and wanted to hide Mr. Taylor from my eyes, but Roger recognized me and pushed away the security guy from his side to show me a “OK” sign. That’s how nice our Roger is!
The next morning we have met them when they were leaving the hotel for a work in the “Centum” and had a lucky chance to talk to them. Paul (Mr. ProDJ) have already announced WHAT Jim had told us, so here is what Mr. Taylor said:
“Roger, what does the word “Rhye” mean in the name of “ Seven seas of rhye” song?”
“A-a-h, it’s a place” he answered, smiling with his famous smile.
And Brian enjoyed the view of a Soviet Union coin, which Paul (Mr. ProDJ) presented to him as a mediator for guitar. When they were leaving the “Centum” office later that evening security again didn’t allowed us to come closer to them and I shouted “ Brian, you look very beautiful!”
“No, I look very tired” answered Brian, smiling.
The next day Roger went for a walk to the Red Square, where he visited St. Basil Cathedral and bought some presents. He even visited the Moscow metro, where he was glad to see us, riding in one train with him and showed a “OK” sign in recognition, smiling to us.
That evening I also talked to Brian.
“Brian, what can you say about “Disappointment” song?”
“I don’t know what it is, I never recorded this song.”
“What about “Motherlove”, how did you composed and recorded it?”
“We wrote it together with Freddie at one day and the same day I wrote its last verse. And we recorded it with Roger and John at the same day too. So it was all done at one day as you see”.
“Brian, come to our country with concert again”
“Oh, you know, I'm not sure about my voice”
“You have a brilliant voice, so, please, come”
“Oh, you're so kindhearted, thank you for your care” answered Brian, blowing an air kiss to me :)
Rosco asked what about “Sail Away Sweet Sister” is.
“It's about my sister” he answered.
When one fan whose nickname is “Great” presented Brian a photo of him with Mr. May, Brian smiled and asked “who is this old man?” looking at himself.
He also enjoyed old black and white pictures of Kremlin, which a young girl Alexandra presented to him. “Can I see our hotel here?”, he asked.
May was in “46664” t-shirt, so I said “ Brian, “46664” - it was great!”. Brian smiled and proudly pointed at his t-shirt, as if he was saying “Yes, we were there, we did it! ”. That evening when Brian and Roger were leaving the hotel a lot of fans were waiting to see them, and both musicians were really happy to see such a large crowd of fans, they smiled and blew an air kisses to us.
The next day they were leaving back to London. Jim told me exclusively that they will be leaving at 18:55 from “Sheremetyevo” airport, so we went there immediately. Brian and Roger were very happy to see us again, I gave a red rose to both of them and Paul (Mr. ProDJ) asked Roger to come to Russia with concerts and Mr.Taylor answered “Perhaps we willl come” and after we wished them a good fly they went to a V.I.P. zone to prepare for their trip. Look forward to they next visit, my dears! They will come to us!! THEY PROMISEDJ !!!
